Large dovetails at the corners complete the look. Original lock with key. There is a metal escutcheon surrounding the keyhole. The inside compartment has a lift up top with 2 hidden drawers. This rustic antique Italian style trunk will be wonderful in any casual environment. CONDITION NOTES: Condition appropriate for age. Shrinkage crack across the top of the chest. Both ends have a minor shrinkage crack.
