About This Item A general purpose, solvent‐borne, bituminous black paint for protecting many building materials against water and weather damage. When dry it forms an odourless and taint‐free bitumen film. How to Use Recommended where the threat of frost or rain precludes the use of an emulsion. For waterproofing and weather protecting ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including steel, iron, lead, zinc, aluminium, concrete, roofing felt, fibre/cement, corrugated iron, asphalt, brick and wood. Reduces corrosion and decay. Metal protection for any type of exterior metalwork – fire escapes, ladders, gutters etc. Can be over coated with a suitable decorative solar reflective paint to prolong the life of the coating. Application by brush or atomised spray.
