Acrylic varnish water based for exterior and interior wood. Made from special alkyd resins, with excellent adhesive, penetrating and brushing characteristics. Weather and water resistant, quick drying and long lasting. High quality decorative, transparent finish. Ideal for doors, windows and any type of exterior wood. Application: On new wood: Sand and apply on a clean, dust and grease free surface. It is recommended to apply one coat of Undercoat Wood Protector prior the Acrylic Varnish. Apply two coats of Waterbased Acrylic Varnish without dilution. Sand between coats. On varnished wood: Sand gently and clean. Apply one or two coats undiluted. If the existing varnish is in a bad condition, remove entirely and proceed as new wood. Important: Tropical woods such as chestnut, oak, etc. are rich in tannins. It is recommended to clean them beforehand with a cloth soaked in non-greasy solvents such as acetone. Resinous woods such as pine must be cleaned with greasy solvents such as white spirit. Do not apply at temperatures below 10º C. Recoating time: 3 hours Drying time: 30-45 minutes
