The Briticom® fibre optic OTDR dead zone eliminator also called launch leads, are factory assembled connectors to bare fibre and are often a necessity when testing with an OTD. They are designated to measure the insertion loss of the near-end and/or far-end connection of a fibre optic link using an OTDR. These rugged boxes are airtight, watertight and incredibly tough.
