Vintage Original Pierre Chapo T40 Dining Table, 1970s

Description Beautiful round T40 “Duck Feet” dining table designed by Pierre Chapo. As with all furniture by Chapo, this piece shows excellent craftsmanship, is constructed in solid wood and was made to last. Made in French Elm, nowadays impossible to source commercially due to the shortage caused by the Dutch elm disease. Recent productions are only made in alternative wood types or imported elm.   Materials: French elm. Origination: 1970s, France. Condition: Good vintage condition, showing beautiful patina on the wood, minor signs of use and age on the table top.   Approximate Dimensions: Diameter: 111 cm Height: 74 cm Table extends to 211 cm   Table has been cleaned and oiled with the recommended 50/50 turpentine and cooked linseed oil mix.
