Description Product Description Johnstone’s Soft Sheen is a premium quality vinyl mid sheen emulsion formulated for interior use on walls and ceilings. It provides an attractive modern alternative to traditional Vinyl Silk and Vinyl Matt that will withstand normal levels of humidity and can be wiped clean. Suitable for interior use. Preparation. All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. Prime bare surfaces with the appropriate Johnstone’s Primer. Rub down previously gloss painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Application. Stir well. Easy to apply by brush or roller. Also suitable for application by spray. Seal absorbent surfaces with a coat of Soft Sheen thinned up to 10% with clean water. If more than one can of a colour is to be used in the same area, intermix before use. Do not apply in temperatures below 10˚C. Coverage. Approximately 12–13 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface.
