Description Originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1958, the Swan chair and sofa were created by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. Conceived as lounge furniture, the design avoids straight lines entirely, consisting solely of elegant, organic curves. The present example has been reupholstered in natural sheepskin wool from New Zealand. The material is exceptionally comfortable and durable, with excellent temperature regulating properties, making the sofa pleasant to use even during the warmer months.
