Description The “699 Superleggera” chair is an iconic design created by the renowned Italian architect and designer Gio Ponti. Designed in 1957, this chair is celebrated for its lightweight (just 1.7 kg) and elegant construction. “Superleggera” translates to super light in Italian, and the chair lives up to its name with its minimal weight and innovative design. We have selected a natural Mohair fabric from De Ploeg, the Netherlands: Mohair has as an advantage that it is a natural material, very durable, easy to clean and extremely soft to the touch. It gives a beautiful, gradual sheen that cannot be replicated by using synthetic materials such as velour. Materials: Mohair, stained ash Condition: Excellent, minimal signs of use. Re-upholstered.
