Description Obliqua lounge chair by the Swiss architect and designer Mario Botta (1943) for Alias Italy. The lines of these series of lounge chairs and sofas are sharp, rational and symmetric, and seen as his personal answer to the Memphis movement of the 1980s : This piece makes a lasting impression; place it in your space and it will spark guaranteed conversation, and at the same time provide a rather comfortable seating experience due to the full grain, non corrected aniline leather and well padded frame. The seat area has a tilt-down function that comes down when applying weight, similar to a theater seat.
