Description A set of four iconic “Pedestal” swivel armchairs designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International, produced in Switzerland during the 1970s. Each chair features a molded white fiberglass shell on a cast aluminum pedestal base. Most retain their original Knoll Swiss production labels, and all four bases are stamped with the same production number (“150”), confirming the integrity of the set. The chairs have been professionally reupholstered in a dark blue woolen fabric, covering both the seat cushions and the inner shells, enhancing comfort while preserving the original design intent. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light signs of wear. The shells have aged to a soft mother of pearl tone. Some minor scratches on the bases, not easily visible in photos.
