Description A set of four original “Pedestal” side chairs designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International. Produced under license in Switzerland during the 1970s, these chairs exemplify Saarinen’s commitment to fluid, modern forms free from visual clutter. Each chair features a molded white fiberglass shell mounted on a cast aluminum base. All bases are stamped with the matching production number “151,” confirming the coherence of the set. Most still retain their original Knoll labels. The chairs have been professionally re-upholstered in a rich dark-blue wool fabric, covering both the seat cushions and inner shells. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Fully re-upholstered. Light signs of wear and minor discoloration consistent with age. Some scratches on the bases, difficult to capture in photos.
