Description The PR floor-to-ceiling lamp was designed by Pirro Cuniberti for Sirrah Imola during the 1970s: The lamp features a telescopic mast designed for floor-to-ceiling tension installation, suitable for ceilings in height from approx. 222 to 230 cm. A higher ceiling would be possible by installing a support under the pole, lifting it up. The articulated chrome-plated tubular arm can rotate 360° around the mast and supports an aluminium diffuser with brushed aluminium shade, adjustable in height and projection between approximately 237 and 270 cm. The diffuser is optimized to evenly distribute indirect light from three bulbs, producing a soft and atmospheric downward illumination. Origination: Italy, 1970s. Purchased from private collection Switzerland. Condition: Good working condition. Scratches on the lamp shade as per images. Materials: Aluminium Literature: Italian Light 1960–1980, Firenze, p.111 (P. Palma, C. Vannicola).
